Jazz Music City Records and the Nashville Fringe Festival presented the Nashville Jazz Orchestra, directed by trumpeter/composer Jim Williamson, along with the Jazz Music City All-Stars (featuring Rahsaan Barber, Imer Santiago, Bruce Dudley and Marcus Finnie). The NJO performed a special concert celebrating the release of “It Ain’t Necessarily So,” a dynamic big-band recording of music by the great George Gershwin. The event took place Monday, October 28 at 3rd and Lindsley, with doors at 7 and $15 cover.
